Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Alineteam, Inc. (hereinafter "Company") and users of the Ppomnae service (hereinafter "Service") operated by the Company.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Service" refers to the AI work registration, discovery, and sharing community platform provided by the Company.
- "User" refers to any person who accesses and uses the Service.
- "Member" refers to a user who has registered via email or social accounts (Google, LinkedIn, etc.).
- "Maker" refers to a member who has registered and shared AI products or plans on the Service.
- "Partner" refers to a member holding partnership privileges approved by the Company.
- "Administrator (Superuser)" refers to a member designated by the Company with service management privileges.
- "Content" refers to all information, including text, images, and links, registered or posted by users on the Service.
Article 3 (Effectiveness and Modification of Terms)
These Terms become effective upon posting on the Service or notifying users. The Company may modify the Terms within the scope permitted by applicable law, and will provide 7 days' notice before changes take effect.
Article 4 (Membership and Account)
- Users may register via email or social accounts such as Google or LinkedIn.
- Each person may hold only one account.
- Account credentials may not be transferred or shared with others.
- The Company may delete accounts registered through fraudulent means.
- Members may update their profile information, including profile image and expertise, from their My Page.
Article 5 (Work Registration and Use)
All members may freely register and explore AI products and plans. However, users must not engage in the following:
- Registering content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights
- Posting false or exaggerated information
- Distributing illegal or harmful content
- Disrupting the normal operation of the Service
- Artificially manipulating statistics such as views or likes
- Unauthorized collection or use of other users' personal information
- Registering content that violates the AI content review policy or attempting to circumvent the AI automated review system
Article 6 (Team Applications and Partner Features)
- Members may apply to join teams for works that are actively recruiting. Application messages are sent to the work's creator.
- Members may request partner privileges through a partner application; approval is at the Company's discretion.
- Partners may use lead request and investment proposal features.
- Messages submitted through these features are stored on the server for operational purposes.
Article 7 (Feedback and Reports)
Work owners may enable a feedback feature to collect opinions from other members. Users who submit feedback must not post content that is rude, harassing, sexual, illegal, false, privacy-violating, or hate speech.
Any member may report feedback they deem inappropriate. Reported feedback is reviewed by administrators. Depending on the outcome of the review, the Company may take the following actions:
- Deletion of the reported feedback
- Suspension of the member's activity
- Permanent ban of the member
The reporter will be notified of the outcome via email, and the subject of the report will be notified on their My Page upon next login.
Article 8 (AI Automated Content Review)
The Service uses Google's Gemini AI to automatically screen content submitted for registration. The following procedures apply:
- Upon submission, the work title and description are sent to the Gemini AI for safety review. No additional personal information is transmitted.
- If the AI determines that content may be inappropriate, the work is placed in "pending review" status and is not immediately published.
- Content in pending review status is examined by an administrator, who may either approve (publish) or reject it.
- If the AI review service is temporarily unavailable, content proceeds to normal publication to avoid disrupting user experience.
- AI screening is an additional safety measure and does not replace the user's responsibility for their own content.
- The Company may use AI review results to improve service safety, but does not use them for any other purpose.
Article 9 (Content Responsibility)
Responsibility for content registered on the Service rests with the user who registered it. The Company is not liable for legal disputes arising from content posted by users. The Company is also not responsible for the content of external links (AI service URLs, GitHub, etc.) included in registrations. AI content screening does not transfer responsibility for content from the user to the Company.
Article 10 (Membership Withdrawal)
- Members may withdraw from the Service at any time via the withdrawal feature at the bottom of My Page.
- Upon withdrawal, a reason is required; detailed comments are optional.
- After withdrawal, account information and registered works are immediately deleted and cannot be recovered.
- Withdrawal reasons are retained for one year from the withdrawal date for service improvement and then destroyed.
Article 11 (Administrator Privileges)
Administrators (Superusers) have privileges to delete content, manage members, review withdrawal reasons, take action on reported feedback, and manage AI content reviews (approve or reject pending works) for smooth service operation. Administrator privileges are directly designated by the Company and cannot be obtained arbitrarily.
Article 12 (Service Interruption)
The Company may temporarily suspend the Service due to system maintenance, natural disasters, or technical issues. The Company is not liable for resulting damages unless caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 13 (Disclaimer)
Ppomnae does not broker direct transactions or contracts between users. The Company does not intervene in disputes between users arising through registered works and is not liable for any resulting damages.
Article 14 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes related to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court.
